It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin C Vantrease of Brighton, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Vantrease and Celestia Vantrease (Faries); and his wife Dorthy Elmore. He is survived by: his daughter Sue Bowen (Frank Bowen) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Nikole Bowen (Tony Neal) of Edwardsville and Matthew Bowen (Sabrina Slaughter) of Edwardsville; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Jordan, Tyler, Aaron, Nicholas, Luke and Paige.
