He was predeceased by: his siblings, Martha E. Montes, Concepcion Ramirez (Francisco), Jose Montes (late Guadalupe), Rodolfo Montes (late Angeles) and Miguel Alejandro Montes.
He is survived by: his wife Maria M Montes; his sons, Miguel Montes (Cande), Raul Montes Jr. and Jose Montes (Marisol); his grandchildren, Crystal, Emily and Rocco; and his siblings, Maria Montes, Oscar and Guadalupe of Alba.
