With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D Mateja of Bridgeview, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Daisy; and his sister Phyllis Meisner. He is survived by: his children, John, Tina, Jean and Joey Mateja; and his siblings, Danny (Sandy), Gail, Linda Fonte, Kenny (Sue), Billy, Laurie Mateja and Jimmy.

Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made to P.A.W.S. would be appreciated.
