He was predeceased by: his sister Arlene E. Furey; and his parents, June Aines and Robert Furey. He is survived by: his brother Timothy Aines; his daughter Christine Moerle; his son-in-law Mark Moerle; his daughter Melissa Furey; and his granddaughter Sara Ann Moerle.

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations are requested for St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
