It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scotty Ray Carie (Bridgeport, Illinois), born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Allen Carie and Margaret Carie (Condiff); his brothers, Harold and Charles Carie; and his granddaughter Tia Marie Horton.

He is survived by: his wife Monica Carie of St. Francisville; his children, Scotty Carie of Lawrenceville, Christopher Carie of Lawrenceville, Tammy Horton of Lawrenceville and Sara Carie of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren, Tiffany Horton, Jacob Horton, Donovan Gillihan and Dawson Gillihan; and his sisters, Ellen Tewell, Annette Cook and Frankie Spore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
