It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Lou Middagh of Bridgeport, Illinois, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl W. Fye and Kathleen Fye; and her son-in-law Edward Norman Loeb. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence E. "Larry" Middagh; her children, Gena Hedrick of Lawrenceville, Jan Loeb (late Edward Norman Loeb) and Jesse R. Middagh II (Tina) of Plainfield; her sisters, Glenna Engel (Allan) and Carlene Lucas (Lowell); her grandchildren, Austin Hedrick, Kali, Travis Hedrick (Stephanie), Lee Tyler McKinney (Chris), Betsy Loeb, Benjamin Loeb, Maxwell Loeb (Lauren), Harrison Loeb, Cameron Middagh, Kyle Middagh and Danielle Middagh; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Owen Hedrick, Hudson, Henry Hedrick, Kit McKinney and Edison Nora Loeb.
