She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Leslie Allender and Pat; and her brother Paul Robert Allender. She is survived by: her husband Robert P. Heckler of Bridgeport; her daughters, Patricia J. Heckler, Ruth Fisher (Mike) and Robyn Allison (Ben); and her sister Susan McCandless. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: several great-grandchildren.
