She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Scott; her parents, Hubert Hughes and Daisy Hughes (Inyart); and her siblings, Curtis Hughes, Melvin Hughes, Merle Hughes, Morris Hughes, Mervin Hughes, Merrill Hughes and Mildred Bunyan.

She is survived by: her sister Shirley Burgett; and her daughter Susan Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
