We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 90, Lawrence G. Gognat of Bridgeport, Illinois, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence George Gognat, Sr.; and his granddaughter Sarah Parker. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gognat of Bridgeport; his children, Janice Schultz (Gary) of Bridgeport, Gary Gognat (Evelin Tyler) of Eminence, MO, Elaine Smith (Greg) of Sumner and Tricia Inyart (Brent) of Sumner; his brother William Gognat (Joann) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Matthew Schultz (Lori), Michael Schultz (Stephanie), Tasha Sayge (Justin), Rob Smith (Brooke), Rachel Adams (Justin), Tyler Parker (Madison Hemrich) and Trevor Parker; his great grandchildren, Madison, Mariah, Lilly and Kinsley Schultz; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Shain Weir, Sophie, Ella Smith, Ava and Emma Adams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
