He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Houghtaling (Palmer) and Marion Houghtaling; his wife Maria "Mitzi" Houghtaling; and his brother Marion. He is survived by: his children, Pete Ubellacker (Kathy) of Bridgeport, Gretta Davis of Sumner and Brenda Mason (Darin) of Sumner; his siblings, Ruby Houghtaling of Sumner, Jane Warford of Ekron, KY, Ruth Fye of Covington, IN and Omer Houghtaling of Sumner; his grandchildren, Karl, Kent Ubellacker, Corey Davis, Haley Clayton, Johanna Large and Brandon Wells; and his sons-in-law, Rick Davis and Danny Wells. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
