We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023, at the age of 97, Helen I. Thomas of Bridgeport, Illinois, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurlie Dean and Dorothy Beatrice Reasor (Shawver); her husband Kenneth 'Skip Thomas; and her sisters, Bernadean Thomas and Zola Faye Reasor.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Darin Thomas (Amber) of Chrisney, Indiana and Kimberly Ash (Jerry) of Bridgeport, Illinois; her sister Bonnie D. Johnson of Schererville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Rebekah Parker, Joshua Thomas, Rachel Thomas, Alisha Ash and Brenton Ash; and her great grandchildren, Delaney Rose Drummond and Zion Parker. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
