He was predeceased by: his parents, Alverna Selby (Lagout) and Durwood Selby; and his siblings, Helen Jones, Nora Kurowski and Wayne Schoonover.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Crump); his children, Shannon Dwight Selby (Amy) of Bridgeport, Steve Cassem (Susan) of Bridgeport and Paula Leg (Terry) of Chauncey; and his grandchildren, Hailey Nichole Selby of Bridgeport, Nathan Dwight Selby of Bridgeport, Cohen James Cassem of Bridgeport and Calvin Daniel Cassem of Bridgeport. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
