It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Lucille (Spillman) Brown of Bridgeport, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Spillman and Marjorie Spillman (Fornshell); and her brothers, Kennard Spillman, Marlin Spillman, Richard Spillman, Harold Spillman, Larry Spillman, Philip Spillman and Terry Spillman.
She is survived by: her husband Lester E. Brown of Bridgeport, Illinois; her daughter Aleta Lockhart (Chad); her grandsons, Jeremy and Aaron; her son Alan Wayne Brown (Susan Ross); her grandchildren, Chase and Gentry; and her siblings, Pat Walker (Terry) of Olney, Janice Varner (Bob) of Olney, David Spillman (Earlene) of Olney, Judy Ray (Mike) of Bridgeport and Jerry Spillman (T. J.) of Olney, Illinois..
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Bridgeport.
