She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Brinkman and Florence Brinkman Hotsinpiller; and her brothers, Albert, Odie and Floyd Brinkman.
She is survived by: her mother-in-law Florence Brinkman Hotsinpiller (Croy); her husband Frank Routien of Bridgeport; her daughters, Christina Routien of Bridgeport and Beth Tarr (Michael) of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Ethyn, Jeryn and Trevor Tarr; her daughters, Chloe, Lyla Vandyke and Corbin Knotts; and her stepbrother Jerry Cooperidder of Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
