It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Grimes of Bridgeport, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Grimes and Schawanda Grimes (Whiteside); and his siblings, Steve Grimes and Cindy Grimes. He is survived by: his wife Julie Rankin; his son Jeffrey Grimes (Kelsey) of Iowa; his stepson Alex Walls (Kelsi) of Greenwood, Indiana; his stepgrandson Lincoln Walls; his sister Julene Celander; and his pets, Yadi and Bader.
