Carold Lafreece Legg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carold Lafreece Legg of Bridgeport, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Arley Legg and Leona; his wife Alberta M. Legg; his siblings, Mervin Legg, Wayne Legg and Velma Westall Wade; and his siblings-in-law, Jeannette Legg, Betty Legg, Mervin Westall and Forrest Wade.
He is survived by: his brother Larry Legg; his children, Jim Legg (Lisa) of Bridgeport, Susan Darnold (Rick) of Bridgeport and Julie Legg of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren, Amy Moan (Lonnie), Jamie Kosten (Chris), Jessica Parrott (Tyler), Abby Legg, Sara Clough (Ryan), Andrew Darnold, Joshua Legg, Chloe Bowie and Sophia Bowie; and his great grandchildren, Dakotah Tussey (Tyler), Cheyanne Knollenberg (Kurt), Lola Kosten, Alice Parrott, Leland Lachenmayr, Lucy Lachenmayr, Harper Clough, Leighton Clough and Jasper Legg. He is also survived by one great grandchild and one great-great grandchild on the way: and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to see memorial contributions be made to local charities: Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center and Wig Shoppe, Fish and Loaves, Kids Shopping Day, Senior Citizens, Humane Society, Food Pantries, etc.
