We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Bettie J. Fiscus Shappard of Bridgeport, Illinois, born in Shreveport, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph John Burt (Ava Reatha "Reathie") and Ava Reatha "Reathie" Burt; her husbands, Rev. Robert Fiscus and William "Bill" Shappard; her sister Bobbie Whittaker; her stepson Mike Shappard; and her stepson-in-law Glenn Barker.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Fiscus (Ruth) of Robinson and Sherry Brown (John Threlkeld) of Bridgeport; her grandsons, Eric, Nathan, James, Cole, Duncan Fiscus, Shane and Ryan Brown; her stepdaughter Kim Barker of Danville; and her stepdaughter-in-law Jennifer Shappard of Lawrenceville. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES WILL BE IN FORCE, AND FACE COVERINGS ARE ENCOURAGED WHEN SOCIAL DISTANCING CANNOT BE MAINTAINED.
