He was predeceased by: his sisters, Virginia Goodwin and Betty Herrin; and his brothers-in-law, Carney Goodwin, Tip Herrin and Hilmes.
He is survived by: his son George Pendergrass of Springdale, AR; his stepchildren, Ivan Timmermann of Carlyle, IL, Kathy Thole (Dan) of St. Rose, IL, Diane Timmermann of Highland, IL, Krista Timmermann (Logan Fischer) of Breese, IL and Ranee Becker (Neil) of Breese, IL; his grandchildren, Kaylee Pendergrass, Austin Pendergrass, Sarah Pendergrass, Megan Timmermann, Kandy Vanderkooi (Jarrod), James Timmermann (Valerie Goodman), Courtney Thole, Jared Thole (Lexi Kohnen), Justin Thole, Mercedes Clark (Chris), Brennan Kent, Trey Kent (Karlee Huelsmann), Mya Wessling, Liam Wessling and Holden Becker; and his sister Sally Holt (Lois) of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Mater Dei Catholic High School or All Saints Academy and will be received at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the family.
