He is survived by: his mother Barbara; his children, Katie of Breese, Sam of Breese and Nick Helmink of Breese; his siblings, Tom Helmink (Marla) of Newton, Chris Helmink of Rochester, NY, Ted Helmink (Kelly) of Teutopolis, Beth Helmink of St. Louis and Jeanine Helmink of Teutopolis; his father-in-law Ralph Von Bokel of Breese; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Von Bokel (Cathy) of Pocahontas, Donna Von Bokel of Highland, Mike Von Bokel (Brenda) of St. Jacob, Danny Von Bokel (Samantha Peters) of Breese, Ralph Von Bokel, Jr. (Lora) of Pocahontas, Jeff Von Bokel (Teresa) of Breese, Geralyn Albers (Dale) of Germantown, Glen Von Bokel (Norma) of Carlyle and Lori Von Bokel-Amin of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
