He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Hoppie" Holtgrave and Helen Holtgrave; his son Brad Holtgrave; his sister Jeanette "Jenny" Dierkes (Maurice); his parents-in-law, Vincent and Regina Glaub; and his siblings-in-law, Clarice Holtgrave and Paul Kruep.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Holtgrave; his children, Brian Holtgrave (Kellye) of St. Rose, Denise Sellers (Chad) of Breese and Dana Obermeier (Jason) of Okawville; his grandchildren, Katie Holtgrave, Abby Frank (Taylor), Taylor Holtgrave (Nick Becker), Zach Holtgrave, Cole Sellers (Jenna Ratermann), Blake Sellers (Alyssa Gall), Ryan Holtgrave (Jess), Raelyn Obermeier, Ryker Obermeier and Rex Obermeier; his great grandchildren, Hadley and Harlow Holtgrave; his brother Mike Holtgrave of Maryville; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Glaub (Agnes) of Breese, Dora Kruep of Breese and Joanie Essenpreis (Blaine) of Breese. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to HSHS Home Health and Hospice or St. Rose Fire Department and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
