She was predeceased by: her father Ben; her husband Robert L. "Bob" Koerkenmeier; her son Robert Koerkenmeier, Jr.; her grandson Gerald "Jerry" Koerkenmeier; her siblings, Loretta Middendorff (Herbert), Edward Heimann (Genevieve), Bernard Heimann, Marcel Heimann, Otto Heimann and Leo Heimann; her parents-in-law, John and Mary Koerkenmeier; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Koerkenmeier and Rita Koerkenmeier.
She is survived by: her children, Rich Koerkenmeier (Maureen Creath) of St. Rose, Ronald Koerkenmeier (Robin) of Damiansville, Roger Koerkenmeier (Julie) of Breese, Daniel Koerkenmeier (Cheryl) of St. Rose and Ann Puhl (Dennis) of Highland; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Eric), Richard Koerkenmeier (Kathryn), Tyler Koerkenmeier (Heather), Lacey Bevill, Tara Horstmann (Jared), Brooke Winkeler (Luke), Brittney Meyer (Ryan), Kayla Turner (PJ), Christopher Koerkenmeier (Tiffani), Joshua Koerkenmeier, Trevor Koerkenmeier (Sierra), Brent Koerkenmeier (Kelly Gilbreth), Jason Koerkenmeier (Tori Arentsen), Alyssa Koerkenmeier, Kent Peek (Bridgette), Anna Hall (Randy) and Jamie Blevins (Kobi); her granddaughter-in-law Amy Koerkenmeier; her brother Bob Heimann (Judy) of Albers; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Heimann of Damiansville, Lou Heimann of Aviston and Jerome Koerkenmeier of Damiansville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (18010 St Rose Rd, Breese, IL 62230).
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, Mater Dei Catholic High School, or St. Rose Fire Department and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
