It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert H. Kruep of Breese, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert H. Kruep to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Henry; his wife Margaret Solis-Kannall; his sister-in-law Dora Kruep; his son James Kruep; his stepson Tommy Kannall; his grandson Robin Brewster; his stepgrandson Mark Kannall; his son-in-law Raymond Garrison; his stepdaughter-in-law Georgie Kannall; his siblings, Marie Kruep, Betty Hilmes, Alvin Kruep, Wilbert Kruep, Joe Kruep and Paul Kruep; and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Kruep, Mildred Kruep, Florence Kruep, Paul Richter, Caroline Solis, Stella, Delbert Quitmeyer, Nick, Cele Solis, Oscar, Henrietta Solis and Benny Solis.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Gertrude Pollmann; his children, Mary Garrison, Lawrence Kruep (Linda), John Kruep (Shannon), Richard Kruep (Laura), Charles Kruep (Kathleen) and Bruce Kruep (Iantha); his stepsons, Jim Kannall (Carol) and Bill Kannall; his grandchildren, Melissa Garrison, Scott Garrison (Sandy), Dottie Brewster, Doug Kruep (Suzanne), Erin Kruep, Brianna Wellen (Cory), Matthew Kruep, Michelle Doeding (Matt), Tricia Albers (Brian), Cole Kruep (Mary Ashley), Te'a Kruep (Blake Cripe) and Hunter Kruep; his sisters, Agnes Glaub (Robert) and Martha Richter; and his brother-in-law Richard Hilmes. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Heartland Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.
