She was predeceased by: her father William; her husband Lawrence "Larry" Straeter; her son Jerome "Jerry" Straeter; her siblings, Norbert Jansen, Martha Varel (Al), Stella Heimann (Al), Albert Jansen (Catherine), Raymond Jansen (Adele), Leo Jansen, Sr. (Henrietta), Clara Schachner (Robert), Vincent Jansen, Edmund Jansen and Louis Jansen; her father-in-law Frank; and her siblings-in-law, Al Straeter (Esther), Victor Straeter (Mary E.), Veronica Ratermann (Vic), Ann Stoff (Harold) and Rose Mary Straeter.

She is survived by: her sons, William Straeter (Tammy) of St. Rose, Richard Straeter (Rose) of Mt. Vernon, Andrew Straeter (Coletta) of St. Rose, Joseph Straeter of St. Rose and Daniel Straeter (Wanda) of St. Rose; her grandchildren, Curtis Straeter (Precious), Kelsey Straeter, Kirstie Anderson (Eric), Colby Straeter, Mark Straeter, Jeanette Payne (Will), Logan Straeter (Victoria), Dane Straeter (Trang), Vance Straeter, Colin Straeter, Maddie Marie Straeter, Nathan Straeter (Katelyn) and Ryan Straeter (Kayleigh); her great grandchildren, Leif Straeter, Will, Thomas Anderson and Marie Jeanette Payne; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Jansen of Aviston and Norma Jansen of Albers. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-grandchildren.
