He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Holtgrave and Clara Holtgrave; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Holtgrave; his siblings, Alphons, Arthur and Joan Lehrter; and his siblings-in-law, Hildegard, Sonny Brassel, Betty Holtgrave, Dan Jansen, Luke, Jean Brassel, Kenneth "Butch", Laura Kellermann, Danny, Rose Brassel, George, Sandra Kreiter and William Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Cori Brueggemann (Brian) of Breese and Staci Mollett (Duane) of Coffeen; his grandchildren, Maggie Brueggemann, Anna Freeman (Kate), Tyler Cooper (Jamie), Colby Cooper (Tara) and Kerriann Reeder (Nick); his great grandchildren, Jase, Mason, Maebry, Brecklyn, Dax Cooper, Lilly and Cooper Reeder; his siblings, Marilyn Fitzgerald, Robert Holtgrave and Lou Jansen; his sister-in-law Colleen Vaughn; and his close friend Elaine Holtgrave. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many great friends.
Memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Breast Cancer Association and will be received at the funeral home.
