She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Peek and Arlene Peek; her siblings, Sandy Strobl, Darlene Peek, Gary Peek and Glen Peek; her parents-in-law, Eugene "Butch" and Geraldine "Gerry" Buehne; her brother-in-law Ron Yelverton; her niece Charity Peek; and her nephew Dylan Peek.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Buehne; her daughter Megan Kaiser of Nashville, TN; her stepsons, Jared Buehne (Anna) of Ballwin, MO, Jonathan Buehne (Mary) of St. Rose and Jacob Buehne (Kelsie) of St. Rose; her grandchildren, Margaret, William Buehne, Emmett, Arlo Buehne, Callie and Brooks Buehne; her siblings, Dale Peek (Paula) of Aviston, Kevin Peek of Trenton and Deb Buehne (Linus) of St. Rose; and her siblings-in-law, John Strobl of Belleville, Patty Wasser of Boulder, Cindy Yelverton of Highland, Randy Buehne (Michelle) of St. Rose, Dan Buehne (Wanda) of St. Rose, Mark Buehne (Betsy) of St. Rose, Steve Buehne (Kelly) of Maryville, Vicki Langenhorst (Tim) of Germantown and Kris Jeckstadt (Greg) of St. Rose. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (18010 St Rose Rd, Breese, IL 62230). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation or St. Rose Parish and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
