She was predeceased by: her husband John Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Merle Barnhart (LaGreen), Leah Pisaneschi (Mark) and Jessica McGowin (Jay); and her grandchildren, Alexander Joe, Olivia, Ben, Evalyn, Emerson, Quentin and Kahne.
