He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry G. Ottensmeier and Ida C. Ottensmeier; his siblings, Henry Ottensmeier, Richard Ottensmeier and Judith "Judy" Huelsmann; his brother-in-law Dr. David L. Beato; his niece Ellen Modock; and his nephew-in-law Tom Mattli.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Beato of Breese and Robert "Bob" Ottensmeier of St. Rose; his brother-in-law Clarence Huelsmann of St. Rose; and his nieces and nephews, Brenda Von Hatten (Steve), Becky Pollmann, Sr. (Mike), Veronica Beato, Jay Modock, Dr. David Beato (Cindy), Christine Beato, Dan Beato (Beth), Mary Mattli and Andrew Beato (Ngoc). He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Rose Parish or St. Rose Cemetery and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
