It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida G. Ratermann of Breese, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Henry; her husband Hubert "Bert" Ratermann; her granddaughter Avery Deien; her half-brothers, William "Bill" Hoffman and Fritz Hoffman; her father-in-law Ferdinand; and her siblings-in-law, Margie Rolfingsmeier (Ray), Ann Lampe (Joe), Hilda Ripperda (Lawrence), Rita Ratermann, Virgil Ratermann (Frances), Herman Ratermann and William Ratermann (Minnie).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ratermann (Barbara) of Clara Mount, NC, Christopher Ratermann (Christine) of Pierron, Kevin Ratermann (Tammy) of Highland, Denise Cates (Paul) of Franklin, TN and Jackie Deien (Greg) of Breese; and her brother Michael Deters (Jan) of St. Peters, MO. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
