It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Carol Breckel of Breese, Illinois, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Comstock and Georgia Comstock; her son Jeffrey Beckel; her stepmother Vera Comstock; her parents-in-law, Ed and Kay Breckel; her sister Barbra Klingel (Bobby); and her sister-in-law Margie Seifert.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Breckel of Breese, IL; her children, Leann Wilke (Linus), Jay Breckel (Amy) and Gary Breckel (Cari); her daughter-in-law Vicki Breckel; her grandchildren, Mitchell Wilke, Meredith Wilke, Anderson Wilke, Joshua Breckel, Emma Breckel, Lance Breckel, Livia Breckel, Carly Breckel, Jack Breckel and Sam Breckel; her brother Darrell Comstock (Shirley); and her siblings-in-law, Warren Klingel, Mike Breckel (Rita), Richard Seifert and Joyce Breckel Carlson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Hospice of So. IL., St. Louis Children's Hospital or Shriner's Hospital-St. Louis.
