He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine; his daughter Doris Lager (Bob); his great grandchild Matthew Wesselmann; his siblings, Marie Kassen (Lawrence), Theresa Schulte (Arthur), Dorothy Buscher (John), Helen Hilmes (Robert), Vincent Wesselmann and Jerome Wesselmann (Theresa); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Hilmes (Verena), Agnes Hoerchler (Henry Sr.), Edwin Hilmes (Marge), Henry Hilmes (Mary Rita), Robert Hilmes (Helen), Richard Hilmes (Betty), Mary Woltering (Victor) and David Hilmes.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Wesselmann of Breese, Alfred Wesselmann (Brenda) of Germantown and James Wesselmann (Bonnie) of Breese; his grandchildren, Jason Wesselmann (Amy), Scott Wesselmann (Laura), Ashley Huelsmann (Jeff), Jill Burris (David) and Jeffrey Lager (Kendra); his stepgrandchildren, Robert Bufford (Theresa) and Mandy Bufford; his siblings, Veronica Blumenstein of Breese, Henry Wesselmann, Jr. (Marie) of Germantown, Virgil Wesselmann (Alice) of Marydale, Bernadette Yapp of O'Fallon, Agnes Dumstorff of Breese and Ruth Ann Jansen (Herman Jr.) of Damiansville; and his sister-in-law Linda Hilmes of Lockport. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
