Florence I. Usselman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence I. Usselman of Breese, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Hilmes and Dolores Hilmes; her husband Raymond A. Usselman Sr.; her brothers, Wilfrid Hilmes (Charlotte), Sylvester Hilmes (Juliana), Ferdinand Hilmes, Jerome Hilmes and Gerald Hilmes; her father-in-law William; and her siblings-in-law, Wilford Pendergrass, Florence Usselman, Dorothy Buller (Virgil), Evelyn Drees (Joseph), Margaret Timmermann, Veronica Boehn (Don), Maryann Usselman, Andrew "Bud" Usselman and Thomas Ziegler.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Usselman of Chicago, Daretia Schuler (Andrew) of San Antonio, TX, Deborah Usselman of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Raymond A. Usselman Jr. of Highland and Richard Usselman of Pacific, WA; her grandchildren, Bryan Usselman (Chelessa), Jessica Vaicik (Steve) and Christopher Mank; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Luke Usselman, Elliana and Nolan Vaicik; her siblings, Robert Hilmes of Beaver Prairie, Joseph Hilmes (Dot) of Beaver Prairie and Alice Pendergrass of Breese; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Hilmes of Carlyle, Geraldine Hilmes of Breese, Marilyn Hilmes of Carlyle, Nick Timmermann of St. Rose and Irene Ziegler of Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home (535 N 5th St, Breese, IL 62230). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (525 S 3rd St, Breese, IL 62230).
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made in the form of Masses to either St. Augustine Parish or St. Anthony Parish and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
