David L. Hawthorne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2021, at the age of 71, David L. Hawthorne of Breese, Illinois, born in Monroe, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David L. Hawthorne to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Hawthorne; and his father-in-law Virgil Thole. He is survived by: his children, Laura Hawthorne (Brent Hilmes) of Breese, Patrick Hawthorne (Cari) of Grand Rapids, MI and Michelle Brown (Tim) of Carlyle; his grandchildren, Bennett, Barrett and Boone Brown; his brother Richard "Ric" Hawthorne (Penny) of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Angela Wiegmann (Mike) and Ken Thole (Diane); and his pet Holly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 6:00 p. m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Deacon Linus Klostermann officiating. (COVID-19 restrictions will be followed, masks required, social distancing, please keep your visit brief).
In lieu of plants, flowers, or gifts, memorials may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society or the Mater Dei High School Golf Teams and will be received at Moss Funeral Home (535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL, 62230) who is serving the family.
