He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Breckel and Catherine "Kay" Breckel; his wife Carol Breckel; his son Jeffery Beckel; his sister Margie Seifert; his parents-in-law, Marvin and Georgia Comstock; his stepmother-in-law Vera Comstock; and his sister-in-law Barbara "Bobby" Klingel.
He is survived by: his children, Leann Wilke (Linus), Jay Breckel (Amy) and Gary Breckel (Cari); his daughter-in-law Vicki Breckel; his grandchildren, Mitchell Wilke, Meredith Wilke, Anderson Wilke, Joshua Breckel, Emma Breckel, Lance Breckel, Livia Breckel, Carly Breckel, Jack Breckel and Sam Breckel; his siblings, Mike Breckel (Rita) and Joyce Carlson; his brothers-in-law, Richard Seifert, Darrell Comstock (Shirley) and Warren Klingel; and his cousin Marilyn Woitel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
