He is survived by: his children, Mike Essenpreis (Shannon) of Amherstburg, Ontario and Caitlyn Knoebel (Dan) of Mascoutah; his grandchildren, Afften, Lauren Essenpreis, Brayden and Lana Knoebel; his siblings, Sharon Segovia of Chicago, Gary Essenpreis of Albuquerque, NM and Jerry Essenpreis (Ruth) of Poulsbo, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Coleman of Tucson, AZ and Rita Essenpreis of Chicago. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
