He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vocelka and Rosalie Vocelka; his sister Judith Mikutis; and his brother-in-law Edward Mikutis. He is survived by: his wife Edith Vocelka; his daughters, Cheryl Vocelka of Shadow Lakes, Catherine Vocelka of Phoenix, AZ and Virginia Sturlini (Robert) of Plainfield, IL; and his grandchildren, Kristin Baylor, Tracy Elliott (John), Daniel Baylor (Cortney), Robert Sturlini (Ashley), Stacy Butkovich (Joseph) and Ronald J. Anderson (Vanessa). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
