He is survived by: his mother Manuela Herrera of Coal City; his daughter Elisa Herrera; his grandchild Lilyana Alcantar; his siblings, Juan Herrera (Maria) of Coal City, Maria Colin (Nicholas III) of Norridge, Lorena Lopez (Julio) of Coal City and Griselda Valdez (Braulio) of Coal City; his nieces and nephews, Natalie, Stacey, Joshua Herrera, Ariana, Nicolas IV, Anareli, Isaiah, Rosemary, Jared Colin, Jacqueline, Leslie, Julio, Michael Lopez, Anthony and Kassandra Valdez; and his cousins, Tony Esparza, Alfred Esparza and Salvador.
