We bid farewell to Michael E. Kelley of Braidwood, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 16, 2024 at the age of 78. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Eggbert and Sheila Kelley (Gene); and his grandmother Kathleen Jewell. He is survived by: his children, Scott Kelley (Marlene) of Rolling Meadows, IL and Kimberly Kelley-Adamowicz (James) of Streamwood, IL; his granddaughter Kelley Adamowicz; his stepgrandson Jeremy Adamowicz; and his sister Gabriella Ancel (Randy) of Crest Hill, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross or Alcoholics Anonymous.
