Lucas P. Scasny Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucas P. Scasny of Braidwood, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lucas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John and Eleanor Scasny, Sr.; his daughter Tabitha Jones; his brother Peter Scasny; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Scasny.
He is survived by: his children, Luke Scasny, Jr. (Jennifer Walus) of Essex, IL and Erin Valasco (Richard) of Braidwood; and his brothers, Edward Scasny, Jr. of Braidwood and James Scasny of Braidwood. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
