Kathryn Jenny Dixon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Jenny Dixon (Braidwood, Illinois), who passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sr. Lardi and Catherine Lardi (Motta); her husband John Dixon Sr.; her siblings, Joe, Chuckie Lardi, Tressa Lardi, Tisha Payne and Rosie Van Duyne; her brothers-in-law, LeRoy and Allie Van Duyne; and her son-in-law Dan Chinski.
She is survived by: her children, John Dixon, Jr. (Cathy), Judy Chinski and Jay Dixon (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Dan Chinski II (Chandra), Jamie Mack (Darren), Jill Chinski, John Dixon III (Nicole), Judiann Chinski, Jenae Barlan (Allan), Michelle Reddinger and Adam Roberts (Kristi); her great grandchildren, Kaylie Barrow (Michael), Paige, Hayden Mack, Hunter, Darby O'Shea, John IV, Isabella, Sophia Dixon, Lucas, Gemma Barlan Zach, Sam, Caleb Reddinger, Cooper, Zoe Roberts and Shelby O'Reilly; her great great grandchildren, Kennedy and Michael Barrow; her siblings, Betty Van Duyne and James Lardi (Bernice); and her sister-in-law Ann Lardi.
All attendees will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing protocols.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be directed to Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care, formerly known as Joliet Area Community Hospice.
