With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Leo Passafiume Jr. of Braidwood, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary K. Passafiume, and James Leo Passafiume, Sr.; his wife Mary Kathryn Passafiume; his brother Jasper Thompson; and his daughter-in-law Lois Passafiume.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Kathryn Pearson; his daughter Jill Panko (Michael) of Cary, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Matthew (Maxine), Sarah Neumann (Matt), Rachel and Francis; his daughter Mary Farrell (Craig); his grandsons, Anthony (Natasha) and Charles; and his children, Sylvia Johnson of Braidwood, IL, Blake, John of Channahon, Jessica (Patrick), Hope, James (Amanda) of Channahon, IL, Brayden (Marie), Joshua and Paul (Nicole Medina) of Plainfield, IL.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
