He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Greminger and Amanda Greminger; and his siblings, Dale Greminger (Carol), Robert Greminger, David Greminger and Pamela Michniewicz.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Greminger of Braidwood; his children, Jason Greminger of Braidwood and Kerry Dexter (Justin) of Oswego, IL; his grandson Jerald Jay Dexter; his brothers, Gene Greminger of Lockport, IL and Dennis Greminger of Maynardville, TN; and his brother-in-law Richard Michniewicz of Lockport. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be directed to VFW.org.
