It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Mary Ewers of Braidwood, Illinois, born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Walz and Joyce Walz; her husband John Ewers, Jr.; and her brothers, Kenneth and Robert Walz.
She is survived by: her pets, Alex and Taz; her children, John Ewers (Cynthia) of Braidwood, James Ewers (Donna) of Momence, IL and Joyce Frederick (Carl) of Scottsdale, AZ; her grandchildren, Cari, Jamie Frederick, Jacob and Joshua Ewers; her brother John Haulotte (Carol Ann) of Bonita Springs; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Walz of Houston, TX and Margaret Walz of Matteson, IL; and her pet Rowdy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
All attendees are required to wear face coverings, follow social distancing guidelines, and due to the capacity requirements, please be brief with your condolences to allow other guests to pay their final respects.
In lieu of flower, memorial donations in her name may be directed to Joliet Area Community Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
