Eugene Altiery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Altiery of Braidwood, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Altiery and Frances Altiery; and his wife Sandy. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Sue Amiot; his children, Geno, Jr. Altiery (Elizabeth) of San Diego, Tony Altiery of Braidwood, Lisa Altiery of Braidwood, Dawn Keene (Dennis) of Manteno and Vicky Williams (Bob) of Braidwood; his grandchildren, Christopher Altiery (Lauren), Nickolas Altiery (Mireya Castaneda), Madison Altiery, Kara Keene, Isabel Keene, Jordan Williams (Donnie Murphy), Reilley Majchrzak (Zachary) and Justin Williams; his great grandchildren, D. J. Murphy and Julian Altiery; his siblings, Daniel Altiery (Debbie) of Braidwood and Ellen Thompson (Gene) of Woodbine; and his siblings-in-law, Collette Weikum of Naperville and William Amiot of Kissimmee, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington between the hours of 4:00 p. m. and 8:00 p. m. Face masks requirements and measures of safe social distancing practices will be in order, and the funeral home staff will assist the family not to exceed the safe number set forth for the visitation.
