With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Ray Smith of Braidwood, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Franklin D. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Smith; his children, Shannon Mills (Joe Keene) of Three Rivers, MI, Jason Smith (Tammi) of Morris, IL and Frank Smith (Allie) of Cardiff, IL; his grandchildren, Jacinda Smith (Trevor Tanke), Jenika Smith, Logan Mills, Jayda Mills and Amelia Smith; his siblings, Dale Smith (Jerri) of Braidwood, Diane Hibler (Dave) of Joliet, Danny Smith of San Antonio, TX and David Smith (Susan) of San Antonio, TX; his sister-in-law Sharon Zapotocky of Saugerties, NY; and his friend Yolanda "Yoli" Odo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family to be dispersed throughout many local charities would be appreciated.
