He is survived by: his wife Catherine Murphy of Braidwood; his children, Heather Houck (Jason) of Morris, Caitlyn Wilkerson (Tim) of Braidwood, Amanda Murphy of Norman, OK, Kelly Murphy of Braidwood and Nick Murphy of Braidwood; his grandchildren, Nikki Houck, Jared Houck and Ella Wilkerson; and his siblings, Tom Murphy (Tina), Larry Murphy (Pat), Bill Murphy (Barb) of Morris and Rita Hummel (Jack) of Wheaton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
