She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Banks and Freddie Banks; and her brother Teddy Banks. She is survived by: her husband Chris Preiss; her children, David Gillis (Bernie) of Wilmington, James Gillis (Jami) of Braidwood, Kelly Preiss (Kelli) of Wayne City, IL and Kena Gretz of Minooka, IL; and her sisters, Becky Fogg (Wayne) of French Settlement, LA, Krista Rayburng (Lynn) of Montello, WI and Miriam McCarthy (Pat) of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name may be directed to the Morning Star Mission.
