She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Swain and Ione Swain (Hasemeyer); her brother David Swain; and her son-in-law Daniel Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Huggins; her children, Tara Johnston (Robert Evans) of Poplar Grove and Eric; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Huggins of Bourbonnais; her grandchildren, Jayne, Damien Maldonado of Bradley, Jedahdiah Johnston of Rockford and Kyrianna Johnston of Poplar Grove; her great grandchild Emily Maldonado of Bradley; and her brothers, Anthony (Shirley Swain, Sr) and Lou Pierce of Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
