She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Frits and Mary Jo Frits. She is survived by: her husband James Schreiner; her children, Lillian Schreiner and Merle Nicks III; her sisters, Jeannie Yacker and Barbara Jo Beyer; and her grandchild Harper Nicks.
There will be an upcoming family gathering to celebrate her life and, in lieu of flowers or gifts, the family humbly requests considering a small donation to Hospice of Kankakee Valley in her name.
