Ronald Kawanna Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Kawanna Sr. (Bradley, Illinois), born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kawanna (Oblak) and Stanley Kawanna Sr. Ron; his sister Patricia Garbacz (Kawanna); his brother-in-law Chester Garbacz; his brothers, Stanley Kawanna (Mary) and Walter Kawanna (Frieda); his siblings-in-law, Helen Johnson, Donna Beushausen and Gilbert Beushausen; his daughter-in-law Nancy Kawanna; his niece Jerilyn Johnson; his godson Daniel Ross Kawanna; and his nephew Glenn Beushausen.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Kristi Havener (Kawanna); his wife Sandi Kawanna (Head); his son Ron Kawanna (Jane); his granddaughter Kristi Kawanna-Havener (Tyler); and his brother-in-law Gerald Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ronald "Ron" Kawanna, Sr. died at home on November 11, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
