He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Smedley and Fredia Janice Smedley (Rivers); his wife Shelba Smedley; and his daughter Sandra Sue Smedley. He is survived by: his children, Shelia Mailloux (Allen) of St. Anne, Sherry Goad (Dennis) of Kankakee and Malicia Deneau of Agoura Hills, CA; his siblings, Fonda Milaneses of Kankakee and Rodney Smedley of West Chicago; his grandchildren, Brandy Mailloux-Pepin (Stephen), Jacob Mailloux (Heather), Jamie Salm (Misty), Tonya Gibson (Brian), Allie Mailloux (Joseph Muncy), Nicole Deneau and Matthew Deneau; his great grandchildren, Jessy, Dylan, Katy, Stephen, Kylie and Kaitlyn; and his great great grandchildren, Bailee and Bryson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
